Spokane Foundation Planned Giving

Welcome to Community Colleges of Spokane (CCS) Foundation's planned giving website! We are here to serve you and facilitate practical estate planning for faculty, friends and donors. We have an increasing number of friends who have included CCS Foundation in their will, trust, retirement plan or life insurance policy.

We also have an increasing number of friends who benefit from life income gifts, gift annuities and other estate gift plans. These gifts provide great benefits, including increased income and significant tax savings. Bequests for Faculty Development

Bequests for Scholarships
Janice Campbell was a respected employee of Community Colleges of Spokane (CCS) for many years. Dave Cosby, a fellow carpenter at CCS, states, "Janice was a loyal, good and true friend. More on Bequests for Scholarships >>.


Current Gifts
For 32 years, Dr. Cornelius Hagan cared for hundreds of people as an ear, nose and throat specialist in Spokane. Since 1986, he has extended this care to students and programs at CCS as an active donor to the foundation. More on Current Gifts >>.


Charitable Remainder Unitrust
Lou and Margaret Thrailkill were early believers in Community Colleges of Spokane Foundation. "It was the happiest day in Lou's life when he gifted his life insurance policy over to the Community Colleges of Spokane," Margaret Thrailkill, Lou's wife, recalls.
